    The Home Health and Hospice Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and directing all activities and programs in their home health and hospice office. Duties include but are not limited to oversight and consulting related to the agency operations, census development, labor management, budgetary management and compliance of the agencies in accordance with the current federal, state, and local government regulations that govern care facilities and the Operators requirements.


    • Plan and direct operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
    • Responsible for fiscal planning, budgeting and budget management.
    • Ensure adequate and appropriate staff resources are available to meet the care needs of patients by recruiting, employing and retaining qualified personnel.
    • Direct staff in the performance of their duties, assuring appropriate supervision is available during all operating hours.
    • Develop staff through orientation, in-service education, and continuing education.
    • Establish and maintain effective open channels of communication between staff, company, corporate office and governing agencies.
    • Foster a no-blame culture that encourages reporting of safety and quality of service issues.
    • Follows all Signature corporate policies and procedures.
    • Drives clinical efficiency, clinical outcomes and clinical quality initiatives.
    • Follows all federal, state and local government regulations that governs home health and hospice agencies. 


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; Master’s Degree in health-care or related field preferred.
    • Ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
    • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community.
    • Good communication and public relations skills.
    • Must possess proven management skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to the principles and practice of hospice and home health services.
    • Working and current knowledge of various Home Health and Hospice State and Federal regulations.
    • Able to apply a thorough knowledge of hospice and home health care delivery models and relevant financial expertise.
    • Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible management experience in health care administration with a minimum of three years of experience in home health/hospice operations/management is required.
