    Under supervision, the Human Resources Representative performs work of moderate difficulty in human resources and leave administration and performs related work as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer all aspects of employee leave programs, including FMLA, Worker’s Compensation and Short Term Disability.
    • Assist department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
    • Helps monitor the performance appraisal process.
    • Assist in the exit interview process.
    • Assist in organizational training and development efforts.
    • Compile and distribute HRIS system reports as needed.
    • Help maintain company organization charts and the employee contact lists.
    • Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs.
    • Compile and update retention and turnover reports and scorecards
    • Update HR applicant tracking and onboarding documents and user management.
    • Assist with or prepare correspondence.
    • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
    • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
    • Assist in conducting employee background checks and I-9 verifications
    • Oversight of office supply orders.
    • Administration of conference room calendar.

    Qualifications/Skillsets

    • Exceptional relational skills to communicate effectively over the phone as well as in person
    • Excellent detail orientation and accuracy
    • Ability to successfully multi-task and handle interruptions
    • Ability to work successfully as part of a team
    • Skill in using Microsoft Office / Windows products
    • Knowledge of IT systems and general computer skills
    • Strong belief in our mission ‘TO ENHANCE THE LIFE OF EVERY PERSON WE SERVE”
    • A bachelor's degree in human resource management, or one to two years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience. 
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
