    Full-Time Administrative Assistant

     

    Signature Healthcare at Home - 5965 S 900 E Suite 200 - Murray, Utah 84121

     

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

     

    The primary purpose of this position is to perform clerical support in an efficient manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by your supervisor; responsible for the coordination of communications; phones, outside mail, and interoffice mail, filing into patient charts and data entry among other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    • Accurately and efficiently files HR documents.
    • Uses the office machines to fax, punch holes, copy, cut, staple, and collate forms and information for documentation and mailing.
    • Runs errands for the office within the home office building.
    • Data input into computer applications.
    • Meets Signature standards for attendance and punctuality; maintains professional manner in dress and in speech.
    • Completes mandatory education requirements annually and documents same.
    • Maintains confidentiality of staff, patients’ and families’ private health and other information.
    • Meets productivity expectations for this position; organizes tasks and manages time effectively.
    • Can work well alone, without supervision. Asks appropriate questions when unsure of an assignment, takes initiative in areas expected of the Administrative Assistant. Uses good judgment in difficult situations.
    • Supports mission, values and goals of Signature Hospice, Home Health & Home Care.

    Qualifications/Skillsets

    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
    • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
    • Knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Possess a cheerful personality and can work harmoniously with other personnel.
    • Able to follow written and oral instructions.
    • Able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and operate a word processor.
    • Must have a working knowledge of computers, input/output/retrieval data, etc.
