    Full-Time Regional Director of Operations

     

    Area of Coverage: Northern Oregon (Salem, Portland) and Washington (Federal Way, Bellevue, Bellingham)

    The primary purpose of the Regional Director of Operations is to provide management oversight, consultation and direction for the home health and hospice agencies in assigned region. Duties include but are not limited to oversight and consulting related to the agency operations, census development, labor management, budgetary management and compliance of the agencies in accordance with the current federal, state, and local government regulations that govern care facilities and the Operators requirements. The Regional Director of Operations focus is on assisting the agencies in maintaining the highest degree of quality care for the patient while achieving the agency's business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Full operational and clinical oversight of multiple offices.
    • Ensure offices are in compliance with all state & federal regulations.
    • Develop and implement strategic growth plans for the region.
    • Assisting agencies with implementation of policies and procedures.
    • Budget overview/compliance.
    • Demonstrate integrity, embedding the Mission in every interaction.
    • Drive organizational efficiencies.
    • Client Experiences and Outcomes.
    • Assisting agencies with labor deployment/scheduling/monitoring utilization.
    • Consulting with key leaders on agency operations.
    • Growth and marketing
    • Recruitment and retention.
    • Build external relationships.
    • Foster teamwork and collaboration.
    • System wide operation improvement goals and projects 

     

    Qualifications/Skillsets

    • Working and current knowledge of various Home Health and Hospice State and Federal regulations.
    • Able to apply a thorough knowledge of hospice and home health care delivery models and relevant financial expertise.
    • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing or a related field or comparable experience.
    • Minimum 5+ years of increasingly responsible management experience in health care administration with a minimum of five years of experience in home health/hospice operations/management is required.
    • Management experience of multiple agencies in a state or multi-state region.
    • Must possess proven management skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to the principles and practice of hospice and home health services.
    • Must be able to travel within territory as needed.
    • Proven project leadership for significant yearly projects
    • Health care leadership knowledge and experience in a variety of settings
    • Extensive health care operations leadership and management experience
